Collection: Alpacas

Alpaca Knowledge:

Alpacas are domesticated South American camelids, known for their soft fleece and gentle nature. There are two types, Huacaya (fluffy fleece) and Suri (silky, hanging locks). They are smaller than llamas, have blunt faces and short ears, and are kept for their fiber, as pets, or for meat. Alpacas communicate through humming, clucking, and shrieking, and may spit acidic stomach contents as a sign of displeasure.
